Tim Rookes CEO Transition Marks Shift for Truly SMB

Vicky Critchley has confirmed she is handing the CEO role to Tim Rookes as Truly SMB enters its next stage of growth. The business, launched in February and now supporting around 300 customers, is shifting its leadership structure to match its fast‑growing momentum.

Rookes, previously Chief Experience Officer and before that CEO of True MSP, brings long-standing experience in guiding small businesses through tech adoption.

Critchley will move into the role of Executive Chair, focusing on strategy, brand and long‑term vision while remaining closely involved with customers and the team.

She said the transition allows the company to scale with confidence and ensures Truly SMB is positioned to make enterprise‑level Microsoft tech and AI more accessible for real, growing SMBs.
